Recovery SupportRecovery from a substance use disorder is a lifelong process that requires holistic support systems to enable the recovering individual to fulfill their potential. The holistic support systems must encompass health and the treatment of co-occurring disorders, safe housing, strong family relationships and meaningful involvement within the community through friends, co-workers and other supportive people.
